In-Kind Donations

New clothing, underwear, winter hats & gloves, bedding, journals, and personal hygiene items are the greatest need.

"In Kind" gifts of goods, services, and expertise are always welcome at STAR. Items in new condition can be dropped off at STAR (1057 West Fireweed Lane, Suite 230) during normal business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday).

If you have questions about donating items, call us at (907) 276-7279 or email [email protected].

Honor Someone

Celebrate a loved one, mark a special occasion, or simply remind someone they are on your mind with a special gift to STAR. You can also choose to make tribute gifts by collecting donations for a celebration, like a wedding, or in remembrance of a special person.

Legacy Gifts

Including STAR in your estate plan helps to secure the future of our organization and ensures that comprehensive crisis intervention, advocacy, prevention & education programs and healing services are available to survivors in our community. A simple bequest or gifts of life insurance or retirement plan assets can offer you and your loved ones tax or other financial benefits while also benefiting survivors for years to come.
